Hello fiends. Finally CyanogenMod 12 is released for zenfone 400cg. Thanks to the developer(
X AnwarMov Jr.) to make this ROM for Zenfone 4. With this extremely new MOD you can do a lot of thing . lets see whats is new and how to install it on your zenofone 400CG.
~Bugs~:
- Wifi Tethering not working
- when wifi turned off and turned on again, saved wifi are gone.
- some buttons may become recent (Home become recents, And back become recents)
~Procedure~:
Files to be download:
- Intel Usb Driver : Click Here
- ADB tools: Click Here
- CM 12.1 ROM files : Click Here
Installation Instruction:
- Before starting anything check that you are on latest Software update.(v7.3.3) if you dont have then see this article
- You must have unlocked boot-loader
- Now extract the Downloaded files ( boot.img, system.img and recovery_twrp_fixtouch.img files put it in ADB folder
- Now Turn off zenfone and put the fone in Fastboot mode
- Connect zenfone to pc using USB cable.
- Now in adb folder open CMD window ( Shift+right click > open Command window here)
- Now in command window type the command below
* Fastboot flash system system.img
* fastboot flash boot boot.img
* fastboot flash recovery recovery_twrp_fixtouch.img - wait untill finish and restart device
- Do a factory reset
- Enjoy the freedom with CM 12
Fully tested and working. If you follow the steps properly then it will work fine for you..
