Here we have our ResurrectionRemix V5.5.6 ROM for Asus Zenfone 5 . Its based on Cyanogen MOD ( Android 5.1.x). You must read the instructions carefully to get success.

Note : Phone must be Boot-loader Unlocked.

Download Files :

1. Download the ROM: Click Here
2. ADB                        : Click Here
3. Download GAAPS :  Click Here
4. TWRP recovery      : Click Here

Download Files :

1. Download all the files first
2. Copy and Past ROM file and GAPPS into Phone's SDcard
3. Copy TWRP into ADB folder
4. Shut Down the device and Boot into fastboot mode
5. Now connect zenofne to PC/Laptop
6. Open Command Window in ADB folder and type the command below
   * fastboot flash recovery new-twrp-z5-sbinsh-2508-a608.img
7. Now  Turnoff the device and again boot into recovery mode ( Power button + vol down button)
8. Now you have to flash ROM file and GAPPS file which you have copy to SDcard in step 3. (Fist flash RR rom then flash GAPPS )
9. After this you have to format the device data and cache in the TWRP and then reboot the phone.

Yes. Today we have here Cynogen mod 12.1 which for asus zenfone 5. Cynogen mod is an best alternatives of official firmware. Its uses android Operating system as its platform. Its an open source OS. This Cynogen MOD runs on android lollipop 5.0 . This firmware can only be instaled on Asus Zenfone 5 ( TOOF / TOOJ ). You have to Unlocked your phone to run this CUSTOM  ROM.

Some bugs are still present in this custom rom, Listed below :

• Always show memory full but it will not affect to your Internal and SD Card storage, Also you can download big app from Play-store
  Solution : Hold on the notification , then disable it.
• GPS ( Sometimes working . {solution= ( Set to High Accuracy + WIFI mode)}
• Vibrate not working

Installation Notes.

1. Check that your phone is Unlocked Bootloader properly .
2. Download ADB tools and extract it into desktop.
3. Download Cynogen MOD 12.1 and copy the files to ADB tools folder.
4. Switch off the Device
5. Start phone in Fastboot Mode ( Press power button + volume up / Down button together until android logo comes up)
6. Now connect ZENFONE 5 with USB cable to PC/Laptop
7. Open ADB folder and open COMMAND windows there ( Press Shift + right click to-gather)
8. now a COMMAND window will apear, type the command below:
   
     * fastboot flash boot boot.img
     * fastboot flash system system.img
     * fastboot flash boot
9. Now Wait until it finish , Then Restart.  
10. Now Perform a factory reset
11. Done
